Khadim Dai
Khadim Dai is a filmmaker born in Afghanistan who lives and works in Los Angeles, USA. His films focus on identity, memory, conflict, and displacement themes, inspired by his journey as a refugee living in Pakistan and Indonesia.
Khadim’s films have been exhibited worldwide, including at the Van Abbemuseum, Ian Potter Museum of Art, QUT Art Museum, and the REDCAT. He is the recipient of the Sundance Documentary Fund, IDFA Bertha Fund, Asian Cinema Fund, DMZ Docs Special Jury Award, Docs Up Fund, and InMaat Foundation grant. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Film and Video from the California Institute of the Arts.
He is the founder of Badam Film and a member of its board of directors and the selection committee for the Badam Film Fund.

David Unruh
David Unruh is an educational entrepreneur who developed numerous international partnerships and innovative programs during his 30 years at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
David has a Ph.D. in Sociology, Gerontology, and urban studies from the University of California, Davis (UCDavis) and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at UCLA.
David is also the founder of the California International Education Foundation and is part of Badam Film's board of directors.

Leonardo Pirondi
Leonardo Pirondi is a filmmaker and artist born in Brazil, who lives and works between Los Angeles, Porto, and São Paulo. His films have been exhibited at the Toronto International Film Festival, New York Film Festival, Tiger Short Competition in Rotterdam, Viennale, Mar del Plata, FICUNAM, and others.
He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in film from the California Institute of the Arts and is a Sundance Institute Fellow. His work has been supported by Portugal's Instituto do Cinema e do Audiovisual (ICA), MacDowell, the Allan Sekula Social Documentary Fund, and the Tim Disney Prize for Excellence in the Storytelling Arts.
He is part of Badam Film's board of directors and the selection committee for the Badam Film Fund.

Kusi-Quyllur Del Castillo
Kusi-Quyllur Del Castillo is a Peruvian cinematographer based in Brooklyn, NY. Born and raised in the Andes region of Peru, Kusi’s work in research and photojournalism in conflict areas across Peru gives her a unique perspective on storytelling and putting stories based on and inspired by reality at the center of her work.
Her film "Post-Term" was the recipient of the Gotham Award Short Films Showcase in 2022 and a grant winner of the National Board of Review in the same year. Her film “My Heart, My Fellow Traveler” has been screened internationally in over twenty film festivals. Her film "Jean & I" received the Directors Guild of America (DGA) grand prize award in 2024.
She is part of Badam Film's board of directors and the selection committee for the Badam Film Fund.
